It is a mindset and a culture brought from the world of Design and adapted to all types of usages (industry, services, banking, transportation, education, social, environmental,…) enabling to address solutions design and problem solving quickly.
It can be used to address any existing problem, expected challenge, requested innovation, desired evolution by building on the experience and know-how of organizations’ employees, partners and customers.
Design Thinking helps building teams, creating a common spirit, motivating users, getting humans out of their comfort zone and opening their vision to new ways of addressing their partners, customers and end-users needs.
By animating several sessions where a multidisciplinary team of the organization members explore together, share their knowledge and build a common understanding user view and a low-cost solution addressing the challenge.
Organizations, markets and legislations become more and more complex every year, change is happening every month, time is running every day and the demand to execute faster, cheaper and simpler is becoming much more difficult. Classical approaches reach their limits and the need to an adaptive/flexible/human way to think/do/achieve/innovate….is not anymore a commodity …….but a must.
It depends on the size of the organization, but it is generally quick. People embrace easily Design Thinking because, it is simple, human, fast, cheap and exciting. The result can be used starting from the end of the first workshop.
Design Thinking is built on empathy for the user, sharing of the knowledge of each and collaboration with the whole ecosystem to build a solution viable economically, feasible technically and desirable humanly.
