Design Thinking

Design Thinking is a methodology of working in group, centered on humans and usages. It is a thinking style coming from the design world and adapted to the business world

Design Thinking is the ability of combining the empathy for the context of a problem, the creativity in the generation of ideas and the rationality in the analysis and the choice of the adapted solutions

Beyond the thinking style, Design thinking can be raised as a innovative mode for managing projects that would be technologically feasible, economically viable and humanly desirable in the same time

Encouraging creativity and thinking out-of-the-box, Design Thinking enables a multidisciplinary team to work in a flexible space to design solutions for a business need

Design Thinking is a process composed of several phases (according to schools) six in our case

Team members do a brainstorming, exchange, discuss and build a common comprehension of the addressed challenge

Team members engage, immerse and question shareholders to obtain their vision of the challenge

Team a members compile the obtained information and make the intersection with their common understating in order to obtain the needs and insights of the users

Team members use several ways for the creation of the maximum number of ideas with no limitations to solve the challenge

Team members choose/select/vote for one or two ideas and start creating a low-cost prototype reflecting/incarnating their ideas and making them real for the users

Team members test their prototype(s) by showing them to users and obtaining their instant feedback and by integrating them into the prototype
