Design Thinking is a teamwork approach, centered on humans and usages. It is a thinking style coming from the design world and adapted to the business world.

Design Thinking is the ability of combining the empathy for the context of a problem, the creativity in the generation of ideas and the rationality in the analysis and the choice of the adapted solutions.

Beyond the thinking style, Design thinking can be raised as an innovative mode for managing projects that would be technologically feasible, economically viable and humanly desirable in the same time.

Encouraging creativity and thinking out-of-the-box, Design Thinking enables a multidisciplinary team to work in a flexible space to design solutions for a business need.

Design Thinking is a process composed of several phases (according to schools), six in our case.

Product and solution design

Building a tailor-made solution

Building a new product or a new solution is a long work requiring resources and time. Several challenges are faced, first it is needs and context understanding, then how would the solution be used, then what are the existing solutions offering et how to differentiate. Design Thinking is a proven and flexible approach enabling shareholders to design tailor-made solutions adapted to the specific context of a company or an organization

Innovation

Thinking out-of-the-box

Innovation is in the heart of all professions and the light making our companies progress…innovation is doing things differently, it’s doing things in a simpler, faster and cost effectively manner with more impact. Design Thinking is more than a vision, it is a process orchestrated by a coach and animated by the shareholders enabling to go out of the box to the world of innovation

Challenge resolution

Solving complex challenges

Companies and organizations permanently face complex challenges and problems. The development of technologies is always hustling their usages, adjustment periods are shortened as well as cost reductions and increasing complexity. Design Thinking is a mindset and a methodology enabling to address complex challenges and problems in order to solve them relevantly and sustainably

Customers testimonials

"As a leading management school in France, our students have to be up-to-date in their knowledge, innovative in their way of doing and collaborative in their way of learning. For them, we wished a new approach such as Design Thinking. We looked for an experienced person with a knowledge in the industry and business. We needed a certified pedagogic trainer and coach. Karim was able to unite the three and did the job. He led several Design Thinking Workshops that helped our students open new doors, see new things and invent new ways. He emphasized our message and proved that innovation in our school isn't speeches. It is deeds"

"After signing a big distribution contract for our software with one of the market's main integrators we were facing a huge challenge. How can we train his whole sales force to sell our product in less than 3 months? We were not sure the classical PowerPoint instructor-led sessions were that optimum. We wanted to be sure each sales coming out of the workshop will be able to understand the added value of our product and pitch it, the next day. Novalist Thinking helped us. They designed a new innovative way of doing these trainings. They were able to capture attention of the sales, motivate them and helped by making them eager to sell and convince their customers. Results are starting to come-out and sales are growing fast"

"We were really stuck with our new product design. Our CEO was demanding the impossible. Beta customers did not like it and we had to review the problem from scratch. Novalist Thinking really helped us. After several Design Thinking workshops, we were able to capture tangible users and main insights. Our first prototype came 3 weeks later. The tests were conclusive and the customer's acceptance very promising"
